Comfort My People Romans 15:25-28 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the saints there. For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this fruit, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way. Isaiah 40:1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Thank you and bless you for your desire to bring love and comfort to God’s chosen people. Think of the day we are living in……God has brought His people back to the land as He has promised and he has asked us to join with Him to bring aid and relief to them as they settle in the land. What a privilege and honor we have to work with Him! We believe that two of the most important things on God’s heart in this hour is how we treat His chosen people, Israel, and how we treat the poor. YOU are being given an opportunity here to work with Him in both of those areas.
100% of the funds collected for the Israel Outreach
go directly to the needy Jews in the Jerusalem area each month. You
can be assured that every penny that you give will go directly as you
intend - there is absolutely no overhead or administrative costs taken
from these collections. The money is not going to some big organization
to be lost in an account somewhere, but rather it is going to a person
whose story we have heard, whose name we know, and who we deal with one
on one via a team member on location in Jerusalem.
The following are some of the ways relief has been
provided in the past and we are always watching for new ways to bless,
as the Spirit of God directs:
Food vouchers are purchased and given
Furniture has been purchased and given Medicine has been purchased and given Baby supplies have been purchased and given Utility bills are paid Solar water heaters purchased and installed
Transportaton fare to and from drug and
alcohol treatment centers
Night vision goggles for an IDF soldier
Children's school backpacks
Plumbing repair work
Opthamologist appointment and eyeglasses
