Tikvah
Hope

The title of this page is the Hebrew word Tikvah (pronounced teek-vah) which means “hope”. Amid the cries of the tormented a voice quietly calls out; there is hope. Among the violent, distressed and fearful, peace can be found. Lonely people desperately seek a friend with whom they may share their fears and hurts and are never betrayed. Guilt lies heavy on your conscience from which you cannot escape. Yet freedom can be found.

Hope in a place of hopeless becomes like a river of life to those stranded in a desert land.  Like the desert you may feel parched, dry, and void of life yet the river of life can flow through you bringing new life to a barren land.  Despair can be washed away.

Locked in a world in which you have no control the seemingly unattainable can be found.  In a place where you think God has forsaken you his Word promises peace in the midst of the storms of life.  Peace of mind can be found in the promises of scripture, unlocking the doors to a freedom you never knew existed. God who is rich in mercy to those who seek his ways has provided a resting-place.  Tranquility in a place void of peace is found through the inner peace that Jesus the Messiah freely gives.

Feelings of loneliness bear down in a crowded population where no one can be trusted.  Yet the Messiah of Israel desires to be your friend.  He promises to be a friend that sticks closer than a brother when everyone forsakes you. The scripture promises that He will send His Spirit to comfort the lonely. In his eyes you have value, others may have given up on you, you may have even given up on yourself, but He desires to rebuild you, re-make you into His image with a bright future.

Feelings of guilt from which you cannot escape, no matter how hard you try, can dissolve in an instant when the Messiah enters your heart.  Freedom in your heart, soul, and mind replaces a load much too heavy to carry.  His forgiveness reduces the burden that overwhelms people in the long nights.  Joy can replace sorrow through the redemption found in Yehsua, (Jesus) the Holy One of Israel.  All these things and more await those who take the time to honestly ask for the personal relationship offered by the Son of God.

Our heart at Netzer HaTikvah is to extend the Hope we have personally found through the promises of the Savior, Messiah Yeshua. (Jesus Christ) He has in place a family that operates with values of love in which you may be a partaker. Studies sent via email or postal mailing lists go into correctional institutions across America from a solid ministry team. We strive to teach the Bible in context  from the Hebraic viewpoint in which it was written.  Our teachings are based upon the entire Bible and the love and values found therein.  If you are in prison, or you have a loved one in a correctional facility, and desire the quality of teachings featured on this web site please feel free to contact us.
